Imagine the impact we could make if our community came together to turn an available tax credit into an investment in Christian education.

The Education Freedom Tax Credit creates a new opportunity for eligible individuals and families to direct a portion of their federal income tax liability toward scholarship funding that helps students access a Christ-centered education. The Education Freedom Tax Credit is designed to provide school choice dollars to offset the tuition costs of BRCS students.

Through this opportunity, we have the potential to expand educational opportunities, strengthen our school community, and help more families experience the difference of a Blue Ridge Christian School education.

Pledge Your Tax Credit.

No money changes hands today. This is your statement of intent to direct up to $1,700 in ECCA tax credits to BRCS when the program opens on January 1, 2027. We’ll reach out then with everything you need.

Everyone! You can support BRCS students at a cost of $0. Through the Education Freedom Tax Credit, you can redirect money you already owe in federal income taxes to school choice funding. Instead of your hard-earned dollars going to the IRS, you can receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit of up to $1700, sending your money to benefit BRCS students! (Contributions can be made in January of 2027. Schools will begin receiving these funds in the fall of 2027.)

Individuals who meet the program’s eligibility requirements may contribute to an approved SGO and potentially receive a federal tax credit. Married couples may also participate, subject to applicable program rules.

You may choose the amount you wish to contribute. Under the federal program, the tax credit is limited to $1,700 per eligible taxpayer annually, subject to applicable requirements and limitations.

BRCS will use your pledge to help estimate community participation. In January, we plan to share additional information and a link to the SGO so you can complete your contribution.
