Visit BRCS
We can’t wait to meet you!
Our mission is to be Rooted in Christ, Joyful in Learning and Faithful in Service. Our foundation in Christ is central to having a successful mission. From this foundation focusing on Spiritual Formation, the BRCS program incorporates 4 key pillars: Academics, Service, Leadership, and Community. As you take a glimpse at BRCS, we invite you to come and visit and learn more about becoming part of the BRCS family!
Schedule your visit with the Admissions Director using the form below. Shadow days are also available for students who are interested in enrolling. This is a great way for the students to meet their classmates, teachers, and get a feel for what a day in the life of BRCS is like.
Shadow Day Q&A
Shadowing at a new school can be intimidating – don’t let that stop you from spending part of a day experiencing student life with us. Here’s some important information to help make your day go smoothly:
You will have a student ambassador for the day who will help guide you and answer your questions.
Where do I meet my ambassador? Shadow students will report to the main office and be greeted by Carolyn Paradzinski, Admissions Director, or another staff member. They will take you to your student ambassador.
What time should I arrive? Time may vary depending on your family needs. However, most Lower School students arrive at 8:20 and Upper School students arrive at 8:00
How long is a Shadow Day? Students may choose to stay for a full or half-day. For half-day shadowing, we encourage staying through lunch. Other students can be picked up in the main office at 3:00.
What should I bring? Please bring pencil, paper, and a book to read in case one of the classes has a quiz or test.
May I have my cell phone? If you need to bring your cell phone, you may check it into the office in case you need it. Students are not permitted to have cell phones during the school day.
Is there a uniform? We do not have a uniform, but we appreciate when our shadow students model our dress code. This is defined as modest dress. The Admissions Director will be happy to speak with you for specifics to your child’s grade. Students do dress up more on chapel days: Wednesday at the Lower School, Thursday at the Upper School. This simply means no jeans, dress pants and a collared shirt for boys and dress pants, dresses, or skirts for girls. Thank you for respecting the culture of our school.
Do I need to bring a lunch? Yes, please bring a packed lunch.
Can my parents tour the school while I am shadowing? Yes, we will be happy meet with you during that time.
Can I request a specific ambassador? Yes. If you have a friend attending BRCS, in the same grade, we will be happy for them to help you throughout the day.
