At Blue Ridge Christian School, spiritual formation is not simply one class or one chapel each week—it is the foundation of everything we do. From the classroom to the athletic field, from service projects to everyday conversations, students are continually encouraged to know Christ, love His Word, and live out their faith with courage, humility, and compassion.
Daily Bible classes rooted in Scripture help students build biblical literacy, understand God’s character, and develop a Christian worldview that shapes every area of life.
Prayer & Worship
Weekly chapel services, student-led worship, prayer partnerships, and House discipleship groups encourage students to grow in their relationship with Christ and with one another.
Faith in Action
Students learn that faith extends beyond the classroom through community outreach, local service projects, missions, and opportunities to demonstrate Christ’s love in practical ways.
Biblical Worldview
From apologetics to biblical ethics, students learn to think critically, defend their faith confidently, and respond to today’s culture through the truth of God’s Word.
A Foundation That Grows with Every Grade
Early Education (Preschool) Children begin learning God’s love through engaging Bible stories, worship, prayer, and foundational biblical truths.
Lower School (Kindergarten – 6th Grade) Students build biblical literacy through Scripture memory, Bible study, character development, and meaningful classroom discussions.
Middle School (7th-8th Grade) Students begin developing a biblical worldview through studies in the Old Testament, New Testament, apologetics, and practical Christian living.
High School (9th-12th Grade) Students deepen their understanding of Scripture while preparing to influence the world through worldview studies, spiritual disciplines, servant leadership, and the Senior Capstone experience.
Life Beyond the Classroom
Weekly Chapels
Student-led worship, guest pastors, missionaries, and biblical teaching encourage students to grow in faith and respond to God’s calling.
Prayer Buddies
Older students intentionally invest in younger students through prayer, encouragement, Scripture, and Christ-centered friendships.
House Discipleship
Small groups create opportunities for accountability, prayer, mentorship, and authentic Christian community across grade levels.
Faith that Serves
We believe students grow strongest when they put their faith into action. Through local outreach, missions, and community partnerships, students discover the joy of serving others in Christ’s name.

Mission opportunities that make a difference
I am grateful for the spiritual formation that occurs daily for both of my children. Above everything, that cannot be replaced at any other school.
