Upper School Principal (Full-time)
Blue Ridge Christian School, an independent, interdenominational school located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, is accepting application materials for the position of Upper School Principal, beginning in the 2025-26 school year. We currently serve 460 students, grades Pre-K through 12, with a 75% growth in enrollment over the past three years.
At Blue Ridge Christian School, we educate the whole child: spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. Working closely with the Head of School and Leadership Team, the Upper School Principal provides essential leadership in accomplishing this goal for our 7th-12th grade student body.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Education, School Administration, or a related field. Strong candidates will also have school leadership experience and five years of teaching experience.
Above all else, the successful candidate will model and maintain an intimate relationship with Jesus, possess an integrity that is beyond reproach, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and highly value collaboration and collegiality.

Bus Driver, Both Campuses (Part-Time)

Maintenance Assistant, Both Campuses (Full-Time)
The Maintenance Assistant supports the Director of Facilities in overseeing the maintenance, upkeep, use, and safety of the property, buildings, infrastructure, and equipment of Blue Ridge Christian School. He/she reports to the Director of Facilities and abides by the terms and policies of the school. Essential Requirements:
- Has general knowledge of and experience with using shop tools; construction experience is preferred
- Is able to work independently and carry out instructions effectively
- Possesses the ability to interact professionally with classroom teachers, parents, administrative staff, and the members of the community
- Exhibits a strong work ethic, flexibility, and sound judgment
- Is committed to his/her own ongoing professional and spiritual growth
- Complies with all other conditions of employment enumerated in his/her contract
- Physical requirements: can lift at least 100 pounds; can use ladders safely
Spiritual Expectations:
- Believes in Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior and in the Bible as God’s Word and standard for faith and daily living
- Serves as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others
- Faithfully attends a local evangelical church that has a statement of faith in agreement with Blue Ridge Christian School’s Statement of Faith
- Is willing to show, by example, the importance of Scripture study and memorization, prayer, sharing their faith, and unity in the Body of Christ
- Is in wholehearted agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith, Christian Philosophy of Education, and Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality
- Will demonstrate the spiritual maturity, intellectual ability, and personal leadership qualities that are hallmarks of an excellent Christian educator
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Facilities with ensuring that property, buildings, infrastructure, and equipment are maintained in a safe and clean condition, available for use when needed
- Complete maintenance requests submitted by faculty and staff in a timely manner and document completion of requests
- Complete daily custodial tasks at the Lower School under the direction of the Director of Facilities and Lower School Principal
- Assist the Director of Facilities with mowing and grounds upkeep, including snow and ice removal work at both properties
