Our Vision

Statement of Faith

We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments of Holy Scripture (the Bible) to be inspired by the Holy Spirit, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15; 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1-2; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is God the Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23); Luke 1:35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (Isaiah 53:4-6); 1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7); His resurrection (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of God the Father where He intercedes for His people (Mark 16:19; Hebrews 7:25); His personal, visible return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11).

We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone we are saved (John 3:16-19; 5:24; Romans 3:23; 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost:  they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29)

We believe in the Universal Church as a spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ; and in the necessity of the local organized church for the nurture of Christians and their families by the ministry of the Word of God (Ephesians 2:19-22; 4:11-16; Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28).

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, Who indwells Christians uniting them as one in Christ, Who enables them to live a godly life and empowers them to serve in the church and community in the name of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:1-7 & 30; 5-18).

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female.  These two distinct complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen.1:26-27). Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive covenant union, as delineated in Scripture, (Gen 2:18-25) and that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity is engaged in outside of marriage between a man and a woman. (Genesis 1:27–28; 2:21–24, Matthew 19:4–9; Mark 10:5–9; Ephesians 5:22–33).

We believe that the Bible condemns any form of sexual immorality and that Christians must adhere to and practice biblical standards of morality.  Moral misconduct includes, but is not necessarily limited to, promiscuity, homosexuality, bisexuality, polygamy, transgenderism, any expression of non-biological sexual identity, or any violation of the unique roles of male and female.  (Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 18:7–23; 20:10–21; Deuteronomy 5:18; Matthew 5:27–28; 15:19; Romans 1:21-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20).
