Whether students are experienced athletes or discovering a new sport, BRCS offers opportunities to participate, grow, and compete throughout the school year.
The mission of Blue Ridge Christian Athletics is to provide an excellent sports program allowing and encouraging our student athletes to develop their God-given abilities. We want our student athletes to honor and glorify God in all that they do (I Corinthians 10:31), including athletics.

WHERE WE COMPETE
Competition That Takes Us Beyond BRCS.
BRCS student-athletes have opportunities to compete with schools throughout Virginia and beyond. Our conference and tournament affiliations provide meaningful competition while supporting our commitment to excellence, character, and Christ-centered athletics.
Membership in this conference shall be limited to current membership and to other independent Christian day schools elected according to the method prescribed in the Constitution.
VACA’s geography includes the Shenandoah Valley, Roanoke and Lynchburg Districts.
Starting in 2026, BRCS is a provisional member of VISAA. VISAA is the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association. They comprise 100 schools across the state, divided into 4 divisions based on student population. VISAA holds post-season tournaments for basketball, soccer, girls’ volleyball, cross country, track & field, golf, and other sports we do not field.
