Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in Blue Ridge Christian School.
Process Overview
We are open for tours and meetings. Here is what you can expect:
- Schedule an appointment to speak with the Admissions Director, Carolyn Paradzinski.
- Ask all of your questions
- Carolyn will provide you with a magazine, information about the curriculum, and class size.
- Applications are electronic and a link will be sent to you. They are not located on the website.
- Applications are required to be added to the roster or waitlist.
Important Dates
First Round Admission
- We are continually accepting applications.
- November 1-30 – Current Family Early Enrollment — Current families planning to add children to the upcoming school year are encouraged to complete the application if they have not already done so.
- January 1 — Financial Aid Application Opens
Second Round Admission
- February 28 –New Family Application Deadline to receive $250 Early Enrollment Discount for High School
- April 1 — All applications are encouraged to be submitted.
- April 30 — Admissions closes (exception for families relocating)
Additional Applications will be considered after these dates if space allows. Financial Aid availability is allocated in the order of the applications.
How To Apply

1: Meet With An Admissions Director
Schedule a tour and a shadow day.
2: Submit Application
Complete the Application and pay the fee – Submit the fee of $100 per student K-12 and $50 per PK student.
High School student will complete a Student Application.
3: Completion of Forms & Records
- Pastoral Reference Form – This is required from your current church (all grades). The Admissions Director will submit this on your behalf.
- Release of Records – We will request the records on your behalf. Records must be received prior to student testing and family meeting.
4: Student Placement
Students rising from kindergarten to 8th grade and homeschool students are screened for class placement. Students transferring from other schools into grades 9-12 are screened on a case-by-case basis once we have received academic records from the previous school.
High School students and parents are encouraged to meet with the Guidance Department to discuss course registration.
5: Family Meeting
The Head of School or Principals will meet with you to learn more about your family and your hopes for your child’s/children’s education. Please bring questions about the school or any aspect of our program. Family meetings are for parents on for grades PK-8. Students in grades 9-11 participate in family meeting.
January — Family meetings begin
6: Acceptance Notification
When an admissions decision is made, you will be notified by mail. A payment policy document and an Electronic Funds Transfer form will be included with the acceptance letter. Simply sign and return the payment policy document with your $350 deposit and if you choose, a signed copy of the Electronic Funds Transfer. Once the deposit and the signed payment policy document are received, you are considered enrolled. Tuition payments begin on July 1. Later admissions are billed from the point of contract.
