Dr. James Richardson

Director of Creative Arts

Dr. Richardson holds a B.M. in Voice Performance from Covenant College, a M.M. in Voice Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University, and a D.M.A. in Voice Performance, Pedagogy and Literature from James Madison University.  He served as Assistant Professor of Music at EMU. His personal connections to BRCS run deep – his father, Jack Richardson, was the founding principal of BRCS, and his four children are all current students.  He teaches 4th-8th grade music classes, high school choir and music history/appreciation electives, and Upper School theater electives.  He will also oversee theater productions and seek ways to enrich creative arts opportunities for all students.

Leisha Nissley

PK-3rd Grade Music Teacher & Piano Instructor

Leisha graduated from Bridgewater College graduate with a B.A. in Music education and a minor in Spanish. We are excited to have her join BRCS!
