Drama is a form of storytelling which, when effective, can have a lasting impact emotionally and even spiritually on the audience. God has given many gifts and talents to fulfill the Great Commission…drama is one!

In drama class students learn fundamental skills of the craft of acting and consider the importance drama can have in ministry. Drama instills greater confidence as individuals gain a greater understanding of their own body language and emotions.

Skills include:

  • Character Development – voice inflection, physical appearance, staying in character, body language/facial expression
  • Stage Directions/ How to stand on stage
  • Improvisation
  • Projection/Diction
  • Scene Development
  • Props/Costumes
