My main goal for the music department is to instill more musical confidence within each child. Children are taught singing techniques to strengthen their voice, along with ear training so where ever the Lord leads them they can be musical leaders within their church and community. They can effectively praise God with music and become leaders to lead others to Christ. Along with singing we teach music reading through chime and bell choirs. We provide several performance opportunities so that children learn the discipline skills needed to be effective leaders.

I teach at Blue Ridge Christian School because I am a strong believer in this ministry.  This is more than a school. It is a family of believers dedicated to serving God through Christian Education. I am also a strong believer in music and its power to stimulate the brain to develop higher thinking skills, help children develop self esteem, and teach team values along with self discipline. All of this while having fun!
